Cosmic Debris, our forthcoming collaboration with WMD, is a powerful new delay and reverb module built for modular explorers who want more than just echoes.
With 16 interactive delay lines, multiple performance modes, and a design tuned for live use, this time-based signal processing powerhouse can move from precise rhythmic repeats to infinite atmospheric washes in an instant.
The concept and DSP for this module have been in development for well over a year, long before joining forces with WMD. My goal from the start was to make a deep, performance- and CV-friendly, explorative delay/reverb module that feels at home in module form. It sounds like nothing else, and I can't wait for you to hear it.
A quest for manufacturing advice from my friends and industry veterans at WMD is what turned the project into a full-fledged collaboration. They liked what they were hearing, a lot, and thus the project took off as a collaboration.
We have worked closely together to refine the design, bringing in ideas to expand the feature set, streamlining performance controls, and ensuring the module will be rock-solid for production.
The process has been as rewarding as the results: not only has Cosmic Debris grown into a truly versatile delay and reverb processor, but we’ve had the joy of building a deeper friendship through the design journey.
Cosmic Debris will be on display at Knobcon and Machina Bristronica and is now available for pre-order. Visit the WMD Website to learn more.
